$1M+ in deals and I still managed to spend time with my family
Hey, welcome to the Employee to Entrepreneur newsletter!
I managed to close over $1M in deals without cutting everything out from my life…
Or at least, after the beginning.
See in the early stages of my journey, I put all of my efforts into my business, which meant I didn’t work out as much, and I simply had to change something about my approach.
(Here’s where the secret comes in)
Are you ready? Drum roll
So what helped me go from being extremely busy to being able to travel the world and spend time with my family while still making money was proper time management.
So how can you start implementing this?
Simple.
Your tomorrow starts today. Here’s what I mean:
Every night, you write out what your tomorrow is gonna look like, which tasks you’re gonna be performing, any calls you’re gonna go over, etc.
I recommend you set your tasks up in such a way that the most important tasks are done first, and then as the priority goes down, the later you complete the task.
For example, if you gotta take your children to school, that’s your first priority.
Think about it this way:
1st priority - Things that need to be done now, and can not wait
2nd priority - Things that need to be done soon, but are not urgent.
3rd priority - They need to be some time, but not urgent
Prepping for a sales call could be 2nd priority, and going to the gym could be 3rd priority.
The examples don’t really matter, it’s more so that you understand the principles.
Then you go to bed before midnight and wake up around 7 am.
Now it’s time to act on your most important tasks.
By being very intentional with the tasks you’re doing, you’re gonna soon realize that all of your tasks can be finished much faster than you originally thought.
