Future entrepreneurs...

Knowing how to sell is your whole foundation as an entrepreneur…

As you might know - entrepreneurship and sales truly go hand in hand.

So if you want to excel as an entrepreneur, getting very good at the art of sales is an essential skill.

It's the only skill you need as an entrepreneur, and it is KEY to building a successful business.

Master Your Listening Skills 🎧

  • The two-way street. Your sales conversations should be an absolute dialogue and not a monologue… Take the time and understand your prospects' needs and concerns.

  • Don’t interrupt... ever. The prospect should be able to express themselves fully without interruption because it shows respect and demonstrates close attention.

  • Avoid misunderstandings and instead pay close attention so that you can comprehend your prospects’ requirements, pain points, and objections to avoid lost opportunities

  • Dig deeper when faced with short answers, ask follow-up questions, and aim to uncover the underlying reasons so that you can tailor your pitch accordingly.

Remember, nitpicking EVERYTHING from your sales calls will help you become a better entrepreneur and closer.

Master Your Tonality 🔊

  • Have a varying tone to keep the conversation dynamic and interesting. Add interest and inflection to your voice. (You don’t wanna be boring)

  • MATCH the Tone. Try tailoring YOUR tone to align with the nature of your questions or statements.

You also need to be authentic, strive for authenticity and genuineness to let your passion come through naturally.

Handle Objections Like a Pro 🛡️

Understand the REAL objection.

Go deeper and uncover the root cause of objections and address them directly.

Be persistent and view objections as opportunities to engage and build a stronger case for your product or service.

And please do remain confident…

Avoid explaining or defense mode, this makes you seem worried and it’s just not good.

Instead, focus on the value you offer.

Nail Your Pitch 🎯

Keep it engaging to ensure your pitch is personalized to address your prospect's pain points and keep them engaged.

Try to encourage agreement and involvement with well-placed tie-downs throughout the pitch.

And instead of trying to analyze everything, I recommend focusing on ONE or TWO things for each review.

And by taking action and applying these entrepreneurial sales skills to show your business, you can now become a much better entrepreneur!
