What NOT to do in sales...

One of the most important things to avoid:

As we’ve previously discussed, in most stages of entrepreneurship, and especially the beginning, you need to know sales.

So I thought I would drop some advice on what NOT to do when it comes to sales.

Just to make the process easier for you.

So what should you AVOID doing in sales?

Using scripts.

The reason for this is, that when you rely on scripts in sales, you’ll come across as robotic and insincere. And this WILL negatively affect your “sales game”.

Scripts very often tend to make interactions feel impersonal, which just ruins the chance of prospects actually doing business with you.

Not only that but using scripts prevents you from adapting to the specific needs of each prospect because you’re just stuck to one script, once again, ruining your ability to build genuine connections and address their concerns properly.

So instead:

Be yourself, focus on the main objective of the call, be flexible so that you build trust and rapport with prospects, and close those prospects.

That’s a wrap for this week!
