Sales pitch not performing well?
Shorten your pitch.
To make your pitch more effective, you want to shorten it a bit.
This helps because you won’t overwhelm the person you're pitching to with unnecessary details.
And the question is, when do you know which unnecessary details to cut out?
Well, to avoid overwhelming your potential customers with too much unnecessary information, you want to help them believe that you can solve the prospect's specific problem.
The way you can do that is by asking inviting questions, this allows you to address their specific needs and concerns.
Questions like these often work well:
> “What challenges are you currently facing in your (insert industry)?”
> “Can you tell me more about what you're looking to achieve with (insert product)?”
> “Tell me more about XYZ”
This type of approach helps create a better conversation where it helps you tailor your pitch to their requirements.
So to sum it up:
Cut out unnecessary details, and focus on asking questions that allow you to address their specific needs.
