WHY Are you working on this business?

When I focus on something, I go all in.

I simply get very passionate and do everything I can to succeed in the shortest amount of time.

Looking back, this meant sacrificing my social life and time in the gym.

I didn’t see my friends as much, and I rarely got to work out, even though it was one of the first things I really loved.

But regardless of that, I remember that there was one thing I didn’t want to sacrifice and that was…

Family time.

Sometimes you just have to look at the “why”.

WHY Are you working on this business?

My big reason for building a business was so that I could spend more time with my wife and kids, be there for their soccer practices, travel with them, and leave a legacy.

And so there was a point where I realized that I was putting a little too much strain on my family.

Regardless of that, my wife was incredibly supportive, but I knew I had to rethink my commitments.

I came to the understanding that I simply couldn't keep this pace forever.

Alex Hormozi is right - success often means focusing on one thing and doing it well.

See, in the past, I've tried many things such as e-commerce, lead generation, sales, and podcasting.

And it's a lot to juggle, especially with a family.

Looking back, it taught me good lessons:

Perseverance is key, and there's no true work-life balance, just seasons of life.

That’s a wrap for this week!
